Andy Carroll
Seeing as he's been repeatedly injured challenging for headers and landing awkwardly, do you expect to see more of him next season if we actually start playing the ball on the deck and not hoofing it up to him everytime we're in possession
Or is he destined to be a sick note no matter what?

Re: Andy Carroll
I doubt he'll change the way he plays much. I hope it works out.

If he gets fit and eager he's a menace.

Re: Andy CARROLL.
Injury-prone players stay injury-prone. If he plays more than 10 games for us next season I'll be surprised.

Unless he adjusts the way that he jumps he will always have problems.

Re: Andy Carroll
AC has a place in the squad but his finishing needs to improve. Most of us appreciate Edin Dzeko at Man City but he is not an automatic starter there.

I expect our new manager to have a squad capable of rotating the players to keep our attack a surprise for the opposition.

Re: Andy Carroll
Get rid. Always injured. Takes 5 games to get up to speed. Plays well for two. Gets injured again. Waste of time and money.

Re: Andy Carroll
Let's hope a desperate PL club comes in for him believing he is a £35m striker at a bargain price and our burden can be released.

Unbelievable the amount of money bleeding out of the club for the likes of him, nolan and Jarvis

This kind of transfer stupidity or by design activity has come to an end now. Just need to remove the stain curtis

Re: Andy Carroll
Time to get rid of him, he has been a liability from the beginning. In addition I can't believe the new manager will play the 'lump it into the box' game, if he does then we may as well have kept bfs.

Re: Andy Carroll
Ou of interest, does anyone think that AC is a proven goalscorer?

Re: Andy Carroll
He's the new Deano, said it from day one, wrong build for a footballer, should have stuck to basketball, get rid ASAP while we can get some ROI.

Impact sub, and nothing else.

Isn't built to start games.

Re: Andy Carroll
I thought when he was fit this season he played well.

The problem was, was that it brought in a total change of style from the diamond back to the boring bollocks 4-5-1 shit which we never recovered from.

But for Carroll himself I thought he played well. We should have eased him back from injury though instead of playing him every game in that busy christmas period.

Re: Andy Carroll
Like an old piece of china now, not fit enough to start games and never will be. One more big injury and he is finished. Will be lucky to get 10 games from him. Fuck him off for a half reasonable price and put more money towards someone else. Cannot rely on players like Carroll if we are to move forward

Re: Andy Carroll
I think the next man in has a big decision to make does he want to play to Carrolls strengths which seem to be falling over and getting injured, or does he want to get rid of him.
You cannot have a 17 million pound player sitting on the bench he is good, not a goal scorer but if he aint injured he will get 15 goals and set up several too the question has always been about his terrible injury problems otherwise i like him.

Re: Andy Carroll
his finiishing is the best part of his game, and he was on top form in the bar we were at in newcastle last night- firing the beers away with amazing skill power and pace..
